Wildthing Adventures was established in 1989 by Wouter Groenewald and was later joined by Nick Louw. The first activities included Bridge Jumping at the Gouritz River Bridge followed by River Rafting activities (on the Orange, Breede and Doring Rivers), Corporate Teambuilding and Overland Safaris. Today, 22 years later, we still offer all of these activities (except the Bridge Jumping which is closed due to the Western Cape Department of Transport).

We pride ourselves in service excellence, going that extra mile to make all our guests a Wildthing Adventures ambassador.  Our motto is 'Living the good life' and this is what most of us aspire to, but a few of us ever achieve. We will strive to make it happen for you. Our guides have APA (African Paddling Association) specialised guide certification and have interesting nature or conservation backgrounds. We practice a safety first approach to outdoor adventure and are proud of our safety record.
